Hispanic Heritage Month with Maker's Mark and Muralist Don Rimx

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Maker’s Mark has partnered with The Wynwood Market Place (SWARM) & Puerto Rican muralist Don Rimx to pay tribute to and celebrate Miami’s diverse Latinx communities. At the event, Don Rimx will be unveiling a captivating, must-see mural on stacked shipping containers that will be showcased in Wynwood, a neighborhood so deeply rooted in the celebration of Latinx art and culture. The work of art will stand two stories high, and it is open to the public – free of charge – at Wynwood Marketplace through November 2021.

Nationally, the Maker’s Mark Remarkable Cities series aims to allow local artists to tell authentic stories of the cultural contributions that make each city so special. Maker’s Mark recognizes that it is the communities filled with people of diverse cultures who pour themselves into what they do every day that make the cities around the nation truly remarkable. In addition to the partnership with Don Rimx, Maker’s Mark is donating to Hispanic Star’s Miami Hub to distribute personal care products in six major cities (Salt Lake City, Miami, Chicago, Rio Grande Valley, Houston and NYC), reaching more than 25,000 Hispanic families. Hispanic Star is part of We Are All Human, a registered 501c3 non-profit.
